help please with lookup for McNay.

Hope someone can help, please.

 I need a look up for the birth of John Alexander MCNAY.  He was born in Anderston, Glasgow in 1917.

It would be great if his parents and date of their marriage could be found for me as I cannot get to the Mitchell and this info would fill a gap in the research I am trying to complete.

Hi, on Scotlandspeople,which is a pay per view site, they indeed have the birth cert for John Alexander McNay. The only thing is that there is no image to view and the only way to get the info you seek from the birth cert is to order a copy of the cert from them. Kim

It can be checked at The Mitchell Library if a Rootschatter is visiting

Thanks blemdookie. I have seen the Scotlands People details and that was why, as sancti suggests, I am hoping someone going to the Mitchell would be able to get the details for me.
Rootschatters are normally very good at helping each other so here's hoping.
