Lindgram family
« on: Wednesday 22 July 15 15:03 BST (UK) »
Hello
I'm trying to find the ancestors and descendants of the Lindgram family.  The only record I can find is in 1881 census but the thread stops there.
Eliza L Lindgram         52    Head
Eliza C. Lindgram   29   Daughter
Alfred A. Lindgram   18   Son
Louis O. Lindgram   16   Son
Harriet M. Wilson         2 grandchild
I've also checked surname derivations - Lindgren, Lingram
There is also one record of a Sophia Lindgram but can't find any more on her or if she is linked to the above family
Thanks

If your source is this 1881 census transcription, it shows the boys' birthplaces as Croydon: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:X3LD-KSD

The transcription of the surname is incorrect (as many transcriptions are).  The underlying census schedule shows the name to be Lindgren.

Thanks.  I'll follow this up.  Any idea why Adolphus Lindgren isn't mentioned in the 1881 census?
