Sarah Gosling burial lookup, 1843
« on: Friday 24 July 15 11:51 BST (UK) »
Hi,

I'm trying to find out details regarding the burial of a Sarah Gosling who was buried in the Newbury district in the March quarter of 1843 (so she may have died in the tail end of 1842). I have a 30 year old Sarah Gosling in the Newbury 1841 census in the St Nicholas area and I would like to know if this is her buried in 1843.

If anyone has access to the Newbury parish records I'd appreciate a look up for more details on her age and address.

Many thanks in advance.

Paula

I guess your best option is to get a copy of her death certificate if all else fails.
regards.

She is not recorded in the Berkshire Burial Index - so was not buried in any of the Anglican churchyards in the Newbury district.  Which leaves a few nonconformist burial grounds that are not covered in the BBI - a trip to the Berkshire Record Office might uncover her.  However, a death certificate may be the cheaper/quicker option.
