Do you have further back than his parents' marriage? Can look up if you want but not if you already have it?

No I have no information further back than Thomas and Elizabeth, that would be really great of you,
I just wish I was interested in my family history when I lived in Stapleford Abbots. I used to go past this church in Romford  very often  maybe I will get back for a look at the area oneday many thanks John.

Haven't found elizabeth Surridge birth. I had hoped that would be easy as its an uncommon name.

However, there were surridges being buried to a william and margaret Surridge in stapleford abbots between 1782 and 1798; Joseph 1785, Mary 1782, no name 1779, milly 1798. There's an infant son buried 20/1/1779 and another so. 31/3/1792 who was kicked by a horse. Doesn't say the name.

Thomas and mary Anne have his brother william living with them in a later census.

However elizabeth is in stapleford abbots in 1851, a widow, with her son william. It says she was born in about 1789 in stapleford abbots. That makes me think that william and margaret may well be her parents as there are no other surridges baptising children around the time at all?
William junior is born in stapleford abbots too in about 1816, according to the census.
On the 1841 census, thomas, elizabeth, william, harriet and james are living in stapleford abbots.

If it is not too much to ask? would It be possible to look up three baptisms for me,
they are Elizabeth Seach c1858
             George Seach c1816
and        William Seach c1776
I believe they were all born in Navestock Essex and the church may well have been St Thomas the Apostle.
many thanks John. http://www.rootschat.com/forum/Smileys/classic/smiley.gif
