"Clasp and Roses"
« on: Sunday 26 July 15 12:31 BST (UK) »
My man's medal card (Victory, British, 14 Star) has an entry:

"Clasp and Roses i.v.1826/c 17.11.xx(not sure)  Clasp 43388"

what does this mean please?
I am Zoe Northeast, granddaughter of Maximilian Double.

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,
Zoe
