The transcription says peter Page was a widower when he married Jane.

There is a marriage of a Peter Page to Elizabeth Garraway in South Stoneham district Q4 1860. A bit earlier than I expected, but he would be about 21. This is the only one that seems to fit in the right area. Unless, being a sailor, he'd found a girl in a different port!

In 1851, John is a beer retailer, still living in Highfield South Stoneham. He is a widower age 44. Living with him are children, Elizabeth 19, John 15, Peter 13, Mary 11, but also Charles 9. So it looks as if John wasn't a widower in 1841, but his wife was elsewhere. 
All above born South Stoneham.

Can't find him in 1861
