Peter Prescott Kelly Aitken / Wilhelmina Armstrong

Hello,

could some lovely person please help me to find out anything at all about this man.
All I know is that he and his wife Wilhelmina Grace Aitken(nee Armstrong) had a daughter name Myra on 2 May 1897 In New Zealand. Peter was 42, Wilhelmina was 38.

Wilhelmina was from Inverness-Shire Scotland
Peter is from Kirkintilloch Dunbartonshire Scotland


I would love to know who his parents were etc etc. xx And anything about her would be amazing too.

yes they also had a daughter named May. For some reason I have information that they may have been adopted out into another family and gone by the names May and Myra Hamilton?

Deaths:
Janet Armstrong Rennie died 1909  age 69 in Edinburgh

I found this death and it may be Janet's dad William Armstrong. William Armstrong died 1866 at age 55 in Castleton,Roxburghshire. Where there are no deaths for William in Berwick,maybe he was visiting daughter who was living in Roxburghshire at the time.

Peter and Williamina married in NZ in 1878 with 9 children born between 1879 and 1897.

The firstborn daughter was was named: Margaret Bain Aitken
Another born in 1888 was called May Hamilton Aitken.

Peter was very probably the son of Peter Aitken and Margaret Bain, and as previously posted these parents also had a daughter named May Hamilton Aitken.
