Walter Peacock died 1922 per freebmd.
There is a marriage for a Caroline Peacock to Charles A Balls 1929 Norwich and a death of Caroline Balls age 80 Norwich 1944.

Thanks for this, amondg. It certainly looks to be a real possibility that she re-married again!  How ever many men is this she was involved with!  I think I will call this little diversion to a close and write up what I have found so far.
