Cemetery map, finding unmarked grave?
« on: Monday 10 August 15 16:23 BST (UK) »
Just found out that my 3x grandfather, Neptune Smith, was buried Jul 14Th 1885, Coleford Cemetery, Forest of Dean. South Division, Adults GR H1.unconsecrated. Would love to visit grave ,have a feeling it is unmarked as he was 99 and poor. Any ideas how I can find it please?  :)

Hi there,

is the Adults GR H1 a grid reference? If so the cemetry should be able to give you a map of the unmarked grave location. There should be someone you can contact who manages the cemetery, and they will be able to give you the information.

On searching my own family in london cemeterys, ive found them to be really kind and helpful.

Good luck.
