Trying to find Marriage Certificate for Great Grandfather

I would be grateful for any help.  I am trying to find out were in Ireland My Great Grandfather was born and who his Parents are but cannot get any further in my Family Tree.  I have the following Information

My Great Grandfather William Mullholland was born 1841 in Ireland married Anne McGuire born 1841 Ireland possibly in Belfast, Antrim, Northern Ireland as this is where her Mother Annie McGuire Lived when her son William Was Born.  I cannot find a Marriage certificate and I am not sure if married in Ireland or Fleetwood, Lancashire.  Their children were:
Son Thomas (my Grandfather) who was born on July 21, 1865, in Fleetwood, Lancashire.
Son William was born on August 13, 1868, in Belfast, Antrim, Northern Ireland.
Son James was born about 1871, in Fleetwood, Lancashire.
His daughter Mary Anne was born on June 25, 1876. In Liverpool
His daughter Mary Anne passed away about 1877, at the age of 1. In Liverpool

What religion were they? Irish civil registration of Catholic marriages started in 1864 but non-Catholic ones from 1845.

Thankyou for your help, The link for William you gave is my Great Uncle it is his Father William that I am trying to find born approx. 1841, I think they may have been Catholic.

Just a small point for searching purposes.  www.lancashirebmd.org.uk have Thomas's birth and mothers maiden name is spelt Maguire

Yes, I know you are looking for marriage of William & Ann but I posted link to son William's death for reference.

If they were married in Ireland in a Catholic ceremony before registration (1864) then you will need to look for church records but you'll need an idea of where to look (parish).

St. Patrick's RC Church Belfast, 9 July 1864, a William Mulholland married an Anne Maguire, witnesses were John Cairns and Eliza Smyth.

I checked the civil registration index again and still can't find the marriage listed so perhaps (as it was at the beginning of catholic registration) there will be no civil record.
