Missing Vickie
« on: Sunday 16 August 15 22:11 BST (UK) »
Hi Folks,

I have been hunting for a Victoria who is related to my maternal Grand Mother for many, many years now without success.
These three are the only possible contenders.

CONNOR: Ethel Victoria Bn 1896/Q4 Bethnal Green ref 1 c252
CONNOR: Ethel Victoria D   1897/Q4 Bethnal Green ref 1 c193 age = 1

FLEMING: May Victoria Bn 1897/Q3 Bethnal Green ref 1C130
FLEMING: May Victoria D 1898/Q3 Bethnal Green ref 1C120 age = 1

GATES: Lily Victoria Bn Hackney 1901/Q1 ref 1B523
GATES: Lily Victoria D   Bethnal Grn 1903/Q3 ref 1C89 age = 2

Do any of you have these little girls in your family history records ?
If you do can you tell me the maiden name of their mothers please.

I would like to have a more positive indication before I start ordering B/D certs.

Many thanks to all,
                                   Phil H.

Hi Suzard, CaroleW,
Many thanks for your help.

My research shows the following....

FLEMING: May Victoria Bn 1897/Q3 Bethnal Green ref 1C130
FLEMING: May Victoria D 1898/Q3 Bethnal Green ref 1C120 age = 1

Very unlikely
Unless the relationship goes back before 1797-1800
I have explored this and conclude that it is a possibility but would be back from the mid 1700's
Other info seems to exclude this one now.

=========================================================

Frederick Albert Connor 19 Bachelor Shoemaker 13 Hunslett St
Agnes Lucy Mills 27 spinster
Possible ….needs more research on my part
Shoemaker runs in my maternal G/father's line of employment.

=========================================================

George frederick Gates 22 B Builder 27 Bradley St
Emily Hughes
Possible ….needs more research on my part

GATES was a family (not nessarily this family), with a close relationship to my maternal G/mother.
It was this relationship that alerted me to a Vickie unknown to me !
I will follow this link up.

=========================================================

If I solve this riddle I will let you both know. Don't hold your breath, I have been chasing this girl for at least 20 years.
Many thanks,
