Miss Gray's Academy?

I have just learnt that my grandmother and siblings were possibly educated at a school called Miss Gray's Academy while their theatrical parents were touring all over NE England.  The family, while never having real roots, were associated with Scarborough more than anywhere else, so this school was most likely to be located somewhere in the North Riding.

I've Googled without success.  Does this name ring any bells out there?

Cheers
