Scottish Birth Lookup - Jane Jeffreys b1858 Glasgow

William Jeffreys

Have marriage for her 1886 in Bethnal Green to George Salisbury Gollop, but can't find a marriage before then.

Children 1877, 1879, 1881, 1884, 1893 and 1895.   First 3 with surname Maynard, anyone help with marriage to George Maynard. Thanks

Could she have married in Scotland as you haven't said where these census have her living or where children were born  ???

Can I ask what makes you think Mary Jane was born in Glasgow? Have you found her on English Census and is this where she gives her place of birth?

Can't see a Scottish marriage between a Maynard and Mary Jane Jeffrey/s or Jaffrey  :-\

Maybe if you could give us a bit more info re. her childrens names (full names including any middle names ) and places of birth that could help.

I wnder whether Maynard was an alias for George S Gollop.

The 1891 census shows a possble family in Stratford, enumerated as Maynard.
