Wife of Richard Mapstone - Jane

I am having great troubles finding the correct wife of Richard Mapstone (1863-1948).

The mapstone family has been in Meare for centuries.

Jane was married to Leonard in nearby Axbridge.

The census records suggest Jane could really be Louise Jane Napper.

But then there are 2 or 3 possibilities?

Possibly Louise Jane Napper of Sevington or Seavington Somerset

If it is Richard (not Leonard) whose marriage you are looking at there is a possibility between a Richard Mapstone & Louisa Napper in Wells reg district in 1886

So Louisa Napper is actually Louisa Jane Napper or "Jane" as I suspected? Given her mothers maiden name as her middle name.

Her birth was registered as Louisa (no Jane) - as was her christening

Ah ok,  The marriage certificates etc say Jane, although the only Jane I can see at that time from Sevington is Louisa Jane. Sevington isn't a big place.

Ok, in which case she isn't the right person.

As the person on all the documents is definitely Jane Mapstone, previously..... still unknown
