James Lewis CULLUM
« on: Wednesday 19 August 15 17:37 BST (UK) »
Hi, in looking for any info on James Lewis Cullum. The only info I have is that he was married to Florence May Hurrell and had a child Roy Kenneth Cullum who was born in 1927. They are from the Forhoe District in Norfolk.

Many thanks

I can see the 1927 Cullum birth entry mmn Hurrell, I've tried all combinations that I can think of on FreeBMD to try and find a marriage entry but I'm not seeing anything  ???

Their marriage cert. would obviously confirm both their father's names, occupations ages etc....

Thank you for all the info. By the bits I've been told james cullum died when my dad was young he was born 1953. Not much was said in family about james as Florence got married "again"after he died and everything was said about her and her husband. And my grandad died when I was 7

Hi you may already have his tatty war record, but by looking at it he did not agree with the "Louis" middle name and someone has crossed it out and shown Lewis unless I am reading it incorrectly he states born 20th November 1883 Morley, parents and siblings as shown above, he is transcribed as James Lewis CALLUM

Hi Debs C,

Firstly a very warm welcome to RootsChat!

I wonder if it was the other way around, in that she had married before she married James L Cullum, as there is this marriage on FreeBMD:

Hurrell, Florence M to Fulcher, Sidney; Dec qtr 1915; Norwich; Volume 4b Page 405

Only problem with this is, I cannot find a Fulcher to Cullum marriage at all!

Hope this helps.

Kind regards

David
