Both of full age and of Meriden Street. Marriage after banns.  He is a bachelor, edge tool maker, s/o George Hodkin, labourer.  She is a spinster, d/o James Phillips, button maker. Both made their mark, as did the witness James Phillips, but Mary Dale (think that's her surname) signed her name.

George Hodkin (x) FA bachelor Edge Tool Maker of Meriden Street.  Father:  George - Labourer
Eliza Phillips (x) FA spinster of Meriden Street.  Father:  James - Button Maker

Witnesses:  James Phillips (x) and Mary Dale.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!
