Abel Coupland

Looking for my Grt Grt Grt Uncle Abel Coupland in 1881 census. Have found him in all other census but not the 1881. He was born in 1831 to William & Bathsheba Coupland in Wrangle Lincolnshire. He died in 1906 in Kingston upon Hull.
HUNT, GLENN, BISHOP, COUPLAND & JACKSON.

1901 he is a 73 yr old widower, lodging in a HUGE lodging house in College Lane, Hull

(happened to have 1901 open, Chempat, so I keyed him in quick. But I do agree, it is so much easier if all details are given and you don't have to look them up! Wonder who his wife was and if she was still around in 1881 - she may make searching easier)

on the 1881 would he be Absalom coupland born 1860 wrangle reg distict boston could not access the census as FindMyPast on a wobbler maybe worth a look

an Absalom coupland was christened in wrangle in 1803 
an Absalom coupland can be found on the discharge jan 16 from spilsbury goal lincolnshire 1828
after serving time for assault
is he part of your family can not find abel yet
