I'm not sure how closely related you friend is to Fr. Crehan but they might want to try concting Maynooth as there could be information in their archives- a list of his postings, entrance forms (which might list parents & siblings), academic record or even obituary.

Update (following previous replies and leads; thank you).

I have researched the following facts regarding the Crehan family I'm interested in. I'd like to find living descendants of Mathew and Catherine and their children if possible to unite family in England. I'd also like to locate the grave of Patrick Joseph Crehan.

Looking for descendants of the Crehan Family, connected to Father Patrick Joseph Crehan born 16 March 1912; Woodbrook, Mountbellew, Co. Galway, Ireland. Patrick died (from injuries sustained in a motoring accident) 22 August 1958; County Hospital, Sligo, County Sligo, Ireland. Educated as a Priest: Saint Patrick's College, Maynooth 1931-1937. Father: Mathew (Mat) Crehan, Mother: Catherine Hynes. Brothers/sisters included Mary and Bridget (both born in Co. Galway 1908 / 1910), J, B, K (see below).

I have also noted a connection with DRBOHLAV. Father: Rudolf DRBOHLAV of 18 Grove House, Waverley Grove, Hendon. Rudolf married at the Church of the Oratory, in Kensington, 1 June 1943. Married by Patrick Jospeh CREHAN, Priest.

Rev. P. J. Crehan's father, Mathias, would have been my grandfather's 1st cousin. I have some information on several aunts and uncles who emigrated to America, as well as some information about his paternal grandmother's family.  P. J. also had an uncle, Very Rev. Bernard J. Crehan (1874 - 1956), who was a well known priest and advocate for the revival of the Irish language.  Rev. P. J. Crehan is mentioned Bernard's obituary as the principal celebrant at his uncle's funeral Mass.
