Crowson & Kebar
« on: Monday 14 September 15 18:57 BST (UK) »
I've been researching the Bugby family from Raunds for some years.  Pedigrees that other researchers have kindly shared with me all seem to include members of the Crowson & Kebar families.

It seems that John Bugby (b 1710ish) m Catherine Crowson (1710ish-1742).

Their son also John Bugby (b1738) m  Elizabeth Kebar (b1740ish).  She was the daughter of Robert Kebar (?1702) & Ann Crowson (?1706).

At this stage the Bugbys lived in Old.  I know there were a family of Kebars in Brixworth, which is quite near Old. I should be very grateful if anyone could confirm marrage, & whether Ezabeth/Robert were Brixworth Kebars.

And the Crowsons:  Were Ann & Catherine related? And any idea  where they lived -Old, Brixworth or somewhere else completely.

I should be very grateful for any help anyone can give me- at the moment I can't get to Northants RO

Cheers  Maggott

Hi Keyboard

That was quick! - many thanks.  Marriage usually in the bride's  parish, so reckon that was her home. You will note I have avoided the old maid, old lady jokes...
