It was mentioned on reply 3 - I think we deserve one extra day though, after all it's free access to all records and we are already paying for uk ones in our sub.  ;D  ;D

I did see that Rosie, but I thought you only thought that to be the case.

I asked FindMyPast and they confirmed it.

I'm on duty at the FH Research Centre on Saturday so it may come in useful for our visitors needing help with searches outside these shores.  I think ours is only UK, mine most certainly is.

I do agree though Rosie, a little sweetener would be rather nice.

I do only have UK (I don't need a world sub)  FindMyPast have no intention this time of giving any perks to those who only have/need a UK sub as they think they are helping us by giving overseas access.  Still must not complain I have a half price annual sub about to expire and another one ready to take over from it and over 50 free credits, maybe that is why I am not being offered anymore extras.  ;D

Hope you are able to get lots of lookups done for your FH visitors Susan (msr)   :)

Rosie

It has crashed twice and I keep getting the never-ending daisy-wheel!
I remember now why I let my sub. lapse!! I know everyone will be trying but it was the same before!

I got on without any problems!

I have been doing some research for a friend, and her brother went back to Liverpool with a note from me as to what records to look at on FindMyPast, at Liverpool Library.

No need now, I have them - 2 Merchant Seaman's records, and 2 WW2 POW records. ;D ;D

And that's about all I will have time for?
Busy at a Food and Drink Festival this weekend ::)

Glad you found what you were after KG.  I have not been having any problems either, did not realise the free session had started.

Enjoy the Food & Drink festival - Hope there is plenty of Somerset's finest Scrumpy there.  ;D
