What occupation is listed for Josiah?

Was Frederick born in 1923?

If you have a look at his birth on Free BMD you will see mothers maiden name listed and can then check for a marriage for the parents.

Apologies if you have already done this but one looks likely  :)

Was Frederick a 'bachelor' when he married

Is this likely to be Josiah's death
March qtr 1954

Yes Frederick was a bachelor age 21, he was born 1923. Maybe 8 march 1923. He married Kathleen mary box. Josiah clark was a toolmaker, lived at 28 john st, Smethwick on the wed cert. Frederick was also a toolmaker.

If you look at the 1923 birth it will give you his mothers maiden name - the person Josiah married.

There's a Josiah Clark in Smethwick in 1901 son of Joseph & Mary.  Occupation iron turner at engineer works same as his father.  He is single and age 20.  Not with the family on the next census so he could be married (poss 1903) and out of the home.

I have looked for Josiah mom, I found harris but I have no idea. Not sure where he was born. That's great I could not find nothing. I wonder if that's the correct one? So hard to work out.

Sorry just to clarify is it Fredericks father you are looking for or further back?

You might need to get some certificates to prove things.
