:'( Blimey tara, my mum is so upset. it now seems that all this time we have thought that a wrong margaret doyle was my mums mum, but she did say that she went in an orphanage and only had two brothers, she also said her dads name was seamus, but we thought that does sound somewhat like thomas, and she was only 9 when she was in the orphanage..(if that IS her in the orphanage)

how so very confusing and heartbreaking.

is there any way we can research any further the margaret doyle in the orphanage? we have marriage certificate but she was married in england, so no family members would have been present, (unless others come before or after???? we really do not know)

Seamus is James.
A trawl of 1901 Census might throw up some possibilities

Please tell your poor Mum not to be upset.

Her Mum was her Mum regardless of a bit of paperwork.

Please give her a big hug from me.
