Williams in Wales :(
« on: Wednesday 23 September 15 09:59 BST (UK) »
All my family in Wales come from the Bethesda/Llandegai area.  I've been lucky enough to find them in the censuses because they rarely moved very far.  However I am struggling with the burials with such a common name in Wales.

Are they online anywhere or is there a CD I could buy from a record office or local history society?

You could try Gwynedd Family History Society. (chtg.gwis.co.uk)

Click on Publications, and select Memorial Inscriptions and then Arfon (Central Caernarfonshire).
Scroll down to Llandygai, and you will find 6 publications.

Llandygai,Eglwys Tanysgafell, Bethesda MI's are available for £4.50.

Burial Indexes are also available:
Click on Publications, and select Indexes and then Burials
Llandegai can be found at the end of the Arfon (Central Caernarfonshire) section.
