Allan

Is there a better list anywhere that would give ages, place of origin etc, anything else that would help ?

I'm nit picking here I know but the list would read better in alphabetical order, especially if someone was looking to see if a family member was on board.

Sorry, 'tis just my opinion  ::)

Ignore me if you want  ;D

UGH

Reading about the incident ~

There had been a collection done for the survivors BUT the money never got to them.

They had dispersed before the money arrived  :'(

Cabin Passengers ~ Drowned ~ Were carried to the burial ground of the place.

Steerage Passengers ~ Drowned ~ Were all buried in one grave in the sand.

UGH ~ I get grumpy reading things like this  :(

Hello Tara

Unfortunately there was no list at all. I have cobbled it together out of newspaper articles and obituary's. That is all the information available. its a mission impossible I have done quite well with the Canadians the French/Swiss, English and Scot's but I never quite understood the enormity of the Irish emigration till now and how many people disappeared from Ireland during that period. I did not know about the missing census results when I started but that just compounds the problems.
So no ages or occupations I am afraid. The best hope is an exact match with a family that disappeared from Ireland during that period.
Contemporary accounts have about 430 passengers plus crew aboard the Annie Jane.
I will look at making it Alphabetical to be honest I never noticed that.

Amy Kelly nee Anderson was already in either in Canada or America I have not looked for her yet or if her family made it out afterwards but it is on my to do list.

Thanks for your looking.

Regards Allan

ps that's wrong they were all buried in a common grave, two coffins were made one for the first mate and one for the French Pastor.

Hello Hallmark

Just noticed your post, so they were of Italian origin, that is interesting.

Thanks for that
Allan
