I have Andrew Dimond and Henry Dimond born Co Derry 1830's  - came to New Zealand - don't know exacty where they were from in Co Derry

Kathleen, Going through older posts and came across this one. By now you might have been able to find more information but if you haven't done so here're a few things to consider.

Griffith’s Valuation is available to search here (under family name or place name) and scanned images of the actual page from printed book are linked to the search results. Some places also have a link to the valuation maps.

Griffith's Valuation for Derrygarve (146 entries) lists 4 Dimonds- 2 named Thomas and 2 named John.
