Paddy Carroll
« on: Friday 02 October 15 20:37 BST (UK) »
Hi, I'm trying to find out any information about Paddy Carroll, last known address, 42 Castle St Coventry, England. Paddy was my grandfather's brother. He was born in Cleland in 1912, to parents Tom Carroll and Bridget Kelly. His brothers were Tom, Phil, John and James, and his sister was Maggie. Paddy was living in Coventry in the 1950's but the family lost contact with him. I don't know if he was married, or had children, where he lived after Castle Street, when or how he died? Does anybody out there know anything?

Hi nazchk

We have a 'no living people' policy here at Rootschat. To the best of your knowledge has everyone else mentioned in your topic passed away?

Hi again, yes, everyone in the post has died some time ago. My mum is the only living relative left alive and she is 82 but I haven't mentioned her in the post. Paddy would have been her uncle.
As he was born in 1912, i assume he has passed away.

I'm assuming that his birth name might have been Patrick or his middle name.

There are 3 possible deaths in the Coventry district in 1977, 1979 and 1991 but without an exact date of birth it's hard to know if they are right or not.

His birth name was Patrick, and he didn't have a middle name. I don't know what month he was born either, but I'll check out those dates. Thanks.

Hi there,

With that specific birth date, there looks to be the following:

Patrick Carroll b. 21 Apr 1914. Death reg in Tower Hamlets, London in February 1992. Ref. Vol. 14/pg. 1024. Death at age 77.
