William Robert Smith, bachelor, born London, plumber, age 27, parents John and Ellen Smith, fathers occupation Inland Revenue Officer.
Maria Edith Tarrant spinster, born London, lady's companion, 29(1855), Alfred and Mary Ann Tarrant, fathers occupation picture dealer.
Witnesses Richard A Tarrant and Charlotte Warner

Still do not know if she is mine. Parents,her birthplace and witness(Richard A-brother) agrees with my Maria. Age and father's occupation do not agree. My Maria born 1848 and her fathers occupation is always bookbinder.
