Technically, your picture is known as an etching and aquatint.

A print of Surveyor 1 was sold in 2006 for 128 USD, and one in 2008 for 230 USD.

Are any of the other of your car boot prints as interesting as this one? How many more did you buy at the same time? I'm curious now.  :)

I'm afraid they are long gone apart from 2, 1 on this site under the topic FOUND IN MANCHESTER, & LIGHT HOUSE VIEW, I would like your thoughts on these, again thank you.

"Rudolf (Ru) Harold van Rossem (Amsterdam 1924 - Tilburg 2007), the National Institute for Training followed by art teacher in Amsterdam (1941-1945). In 1946 he moved to England, where he taught at the College of Art in Great Yarmouth. From 1958 to 1985 he taught at the Academy of Fine Arts. Van Rossem was primarily known for his etchings and drawings of animals and people, which he associated with ancient and foreign cultures, nature, mythology and his memories of distant travels. As a graphic artist he was counted among the very best in the Netherlands. He was also a sculptor. His most famous image is that of Saint George and the dragon, which since 1992 in the Sint Jan in Den Bosch does. Van Rossem received several international awards and has exhibited his work all over the world. Still, it is located in the collections, including the Museum of Modern Art (New York), the Victoria and Albert Museum (London), Museum Boijmans van Beuningen (Rotterdam) and the Print Room. In 1984 French Duister published the monograph Ru van Rossem. In the same year he was portrayed in a film by Jan Beekmans."

hello lud quist, thank you for all that information, saved me a lot of researching and time, just started to go through all of the links and sites, I once put this print on eBay and had no bids and very few viewers, then I remembered this site that have helped in the past on a photograph I posted under topic FOUND IN MANCHESTER, I am now looking for a frame that would be suitable for the era it was made 1968, if it wasn't for people like yourself this print would still be under my bed, again thank you very much, dai jones.
