Hello Chris

I would like to ask if you have any Mooneys in your records from this church? In particular Hugh Mooney died 1939. He may share this grave with his wife Mary.

Thanks for your hardwork.

Hugh.

Hi Hugh,
This sounds vaguely familiar,
I think I briefly mentioned this in another thread reply without giving detail.
If this is the same Hugh and Mary I think they are buried in St Kentigern's

Maybe Chris has a note from there?

Thanks for your reply, i was away and so am i bit late in replying.

Thanks for looking that up, Hugh could be right, he died on the 2nd of April 1939.

Mary died on the 21st of June but she was born in 1862 and the record says age was 45. What do you think? The age was maybe entered wrongly or they are different people.

This would be a logical place for them to be buried, Marys mother and sister are here and i was visiting here just a few months ago.

Hmm!

EDIT: Just looked at the daily intern books and i can see from the addresses these are in fact the people i am looking for! Thanks for the help, clearly they have the wrong age for Mary!

Ah that's good there's a match up. I had a quick look at the link again, the number 4s written on the page look different from in the age given for Mary. I think this could be a 7 and Mary's age is 75 which would be close.

Cheers
Duncan
