Hi Morag, here is your photograph. The stone, although it has been either pushed over or laid flat for safety reasons, is in quite good condition, apart from some missing letters.

Lodger, thanks so very much for this picture. These McNays are on our family tree and I knew about John who died in the war but not about the other children! Now I can add more details to the tree.

Hi Lodger, I noticed in your listing you have a Freckleton in your Globe listing, do you have a picture of this stone? I was aware there was a plot but not sure where in Motherwell The Globe is!

Hi DeBarre,

Here's the Freckleton picture, John senior with both his wives. The Globe isn't easy to find unless you know the area. It's along the river Calder after Motherwell Mill, at the bottom of Milton St and then a 15 minute walk towards the river.
