Virginia Gardner
« on: Saturday 17 October 15 21:09 BST (UK) »
I am looking for a birth record for a Virginia Gardner who we believe was born around 1893.  She was married in 1912 and was recorded as a minor.  We cannot find any record of her birth and the Irish GRO cannot find it.  On the marriage certificate one of the witnesses is her sister Annie and her father is called John.

thank you  in advance for any help

regards

What are the addresses of bride and groom on the cert? Have you tried to cross check with the 1911 census.

Married Dublin North

There a girl born 1904 but she appears to be daughter of William re the 1911 Census, far too young anyway, just ruling her out.

What address is on the marriage cert to see if we can find them in the census.

Sinann I don't think that is a stretch at all. James Wynne was by 1912 a soldier in the Rpyal Field Artillery - his service record mentions the son Charles who seems to have died as a child and a daughter Julia Mary.(mother in the record you posted is named Julia) Later addresses for the family are Iveagh Trust Buildings on Bride St. and then Francis Street.
