THeir marriage was 16th Feb 1915 St Finbarrs RC CHurch. James Hurley Soldier Father James Occ Carrier. Ellen Dorgan Servant age 20yrs 49 Douglas St Cork Father John Labourer. Its probably a "longshot" but you never know.

This is very interesting. This is the best Mary Esther Hurley ! I know, 100% the baby Patrick Joseph Hurley was brought up in a children's home in Clonakilty, Co Cork and the birth certificate has the fathers name struck out. He actually engaged my mother in 1955 and left her in 1957, I was born 25/12/57, I discovered he had a son Thank You for posting, so James Hurley was a soldier, which is dissapinting, my mother's family were in Massachusetts raising first Dail eirrean bonds in 1919.
