Living at 27 High St Cefn Mawr Denbighshire according to the 1901 Census are;
Edward Bowen,Head born Rhos Denbighshire c 1875.
Elizabeth A,Wife born Acrefair Denbighshire c 1876.
Joseph,Son born Cefn Mawr Denbighshire c1898.
Frances,Daughter born Rhos Denbighshire c 1900.

I can't find any further info about any of this family after 1901.Help please!

Oh dear!It was really the Edward Bowen who was of interest.It seems though that his wife in 1901 died and he remarried a Rebecca Jones.He was in the frame,really my last hope for being the father of a George Sydney Bowen who was to marry an Esther Mary Jones at Wirral Cheshire in 1938.George Sydney was given as 25 years old when he married.I've yet to find his Birth for definite either!

There is only one George S Bowen birth on freebmd between 1913-1915 and that was in Bedwelty - mmn also Bowen

No Edward Bowen marriage to a female Bowen between 1900-1915 so if that is his birth - probably illegitimate and made up a fathers name when he married - unless you have other info?

Aged 23 in 1938 = 1914/15

I altered to the correct given age 25years.The reason I started my searcch in the Wrexham area is that the Edward was reputed to have come from the area.George Sydney also went to live in the area after marriage.

Where/when died George S. Bowen and his wife die?

Is the name Edward given as George's father on his marriage certificate and, if so, what was his occupation?
