Hi, and a warm welcome to Rootschat!

Before we start looking can you fill us in on what you have already. Do you know for sure there were children?  Do you have any names? Have you found Albert and Ellen in 1891/1901/1911 censuses?

To answer my own question

1891
Round Green Cottages, Cranbrook
Albert Horace Skinner 28 ag lab bn Betherden
Ellen 26 bn Benenden
Lily 5 bn Benenden
Percy 4 bn Staplehurst
Edith 1 bn Round Green

Same children in 1901, all ten years older, plus a 2 year old George

Sorry, 1911 look ups are not allowed. If you have a look you will see if there were any more children after George, and also there should be a total number of children born, and how many are still living.

Thank you so much! That's exactly what I was looking for! I'm following the direct line of descent/ascent of the Skinner family in Bethersden for a friend, but I'm a bit of a novice at this and I hadn't come up with anything for Albert Horace. If all goes well I shall follow the Ledger family too: a Ledger married a Skinner and had a son named Ledger Skinner (my friend's father).

Thanks again; I'm really grateful

Ally  :)
