Hi, I'm looking for Martha McCartney, born 1909 in Toxteth, Liverpool, UK.  Her father was John Arthur and her mother Jane. She had a brother also John Arthur and a sister Mary Ellen. I think she sailed from London to Melbourne on 16 January 1950 on the Orontes. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

   Here is a story of marriage of Martha McCARTNEY from Liverpool who arrived in Feb 1950.   BUT it says she is youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs M.M. McCARTNEY from Liverpool, England.

I think the newspaper has possibly made an error with Martha's father's initials.

Her father was John Arthur and her mother Jane
