Berta BABCOCK - Passenger Lists
« on: Thursday 19 November 15 17:41 GMT (UK) »
Dear All,

I'm helping my 91-year old friend research her Great-Aunt Berta Babcock (born 1866). Does anyone know if the passenger lists on Ancestry are the same ones available on Findmypast? I have a subscription to Ancestry, but not to Findmypast.

Thanks for your time,
Glen

Just in case you haven't come across it - there is a FIND A GRAVE entry for Bertha Rosina Babcock - birth date agree's with above but is it the right one  ???

Not what you asked for but a few snippets just in case you haven't some across them.

The Topeka - Daily State Journal - Monday 11 March 1918 - article mentioning Bertha Babcock

The Topeka - Daily State Journal - Thursday 16 September 1920

When Miss Bertha Babcock - missionary of the church of the good shepherd returned to Japan a year ago, she sent a trunk filled with Japanese Curios and patterns of Japenese silks to her sister living in a neighbouring state. IT has just been learned that the trunk was incorrectly addressed and was sold at a Santa Fe sale of unclaimed freight.
