Margaret Jones born c 1848 Help finding her on 1851 census please

According to 1861 census she was age 13 born Bryn Mawr Monmouthshire

1861c states Margaret Jones dau of Thomas & Elizabeth (due to Elizabeth's age 25 pob Aberdare think this might be Thomas' second marriage, he's 33 pob New Town Montgomery) the family are living in Aberdare RG9; Piece: 4067; Folio: 57; Page: 19

Can anyone help locate her on 1851 census -  Thanks

Irritatingly I can't even find her on the 1861. I hate when that happens

Hi the only one at the moment is the Margrett Jones aged 2 with a Thomas 24 b Newtown and Sarah 28
Census ref HO107/2447/428/45
But this is my first look, so possibly this family are also in 1861.

keyboard - the 1851c entry looks promising especially as Thomas pob is Newtown (1861)

Anc* has his name transcribed as

Jeno Jones 24 pob Newtown Monmouthshire but it looks to read Montgomery
Sarah 28 pob Carna dittoed (could be Cearne?)
Margarett 2 pob Rhymney Monmouthshire

Please can anyone help with a baptism for
Margaret Jones born c 1848 either Bryn Mawr or Rhymney Monmouthshire father Thomas
to possibly confirm mother's Christian name

I can see on Familysearch 1871 and 1881 for a Margaret Jones, 1848/9, Rhymney, Monmouthshire. She is unmarried in her parents household for both, although they are missed off FS's entry for 71 and on the 1881 they are Thomas and Susanah. The details for Thomas do not match and would your Margaret have been married by 81? but either way it means that any christening you find for the 1851 census Margaret may well be for this Margaret and not yours.

Thank you ayashi - I can eliminate that Jones family as Margaret's father Thomas is on following censuses and I know this to be the correct family

I'm actually following the line of Thomas' son John from 1861c (of which I now have all census details for) BUT
I was hoping to go backwards with his father Thomas Jones born c1828 Newtown Montgomery by following his dau. Margaret from 1861c and hoping this would lead me to perhaps a second wife or a widowed Thomas and/or his parents - a bit of a long shot

I have now just found a possible baptism entry on FS that might be him giving pob Newtown and father named John mother Dorothey

although there are not any females named Dorothy in the family and father John is a Grocer (1841c)

Trying to find the correct birth entry for Thomas' son John to confirm mmn not going to be easy - you can imagine how many birth entries there are for a John Jones born in Merthyr Tydfil registration district

I'm fairly sure Sarah Jones' place of birth on 1851 is Carno  which is a town in Montgomeryshire not particularly distant from Newtown

In 1851 the family is in Blaina
