CWGC details are as listed in the first paragraph of my initial post.
Have the details given by CWGC  changed recently?   Last time I looked at a record on CWGC   it gave details of next of kin, and home address.

As the Stephenson House info appears to have been received from another source - how reliable is it?  Where was it obtained from?

From what I understood was a cemetery burial list

If it was from a burial record it appears to tie in with the death registration posted by Jennifer

Quote
Buried in St Pancras Cemetery (Camden)

There is death for that qtr. St Pancras aged 34.

If she was 34 at the time of her death then she was born either 1911/1912 and there are far too many Annie Taylor births to determine the right entry.

You really need to either buy a copy of the 1945 death cert to see if any more info can be gleaned from it or see if you or your contacts can obtain any more info from her WW2 service record

Looks like you miight be missing me next week as I am having trouble with my computer. I did not change from Windows XP and it appears to be catching up with me as some of the web sites I try to reach are telling me that I need to bring my web site up to date.

Anyway I have someone coming on Monday to check what is wrong but I think that I am going to need a new computer.

So if you don't hear from me you will know why

Tony

The question is:  "was she ever posted overseas?"   What medals were awarded to her, or what medals did she qualify for?

No idea! However as she is one of my own 4000+ unfortunate ladies I am now just as interested as my two colleagues so, when my computer is sorted out, I will probably send for her Service Record that will hopefully answer most, if not all, my questions.

One avenue  that may help your quest  is to search ATS  serial numbers.

Do a google search on "WW2 UK  serial numbers"   or  search on this site  for ATS serial numbers.

Many ATS service women served overseas during WW2
