Hi Little Annie,
Thanks for your message. Let it with me for a few days and I'll get back to you. I am quite new to this!!! I notice we share  surnames of interest - McCallion, McLaughlin, McDaid, and Doherty. Maybe we have connections!!!
Kind regards
Margaret

Hi Little Annie,
I really don't know. This is what I have come up with so far. Let me know if you would be thinking the same. The Mary McDaid 1861 you mention .... her parents were John McDaid (Tirk) b. abt 1826 and Susan Grant??
My great great grandparents would be John McDaid b. abt 1828 and Sarah Kelly b abt 1836 from the Illies.
I hope I've understood what you've asked me. If I've made a mistake pls let me know.
Kind regards
Margaret

That's the line I am following on the bases of John born in fallask born around the same time as my great grand mother!!  Could be Barking up the wrong tree but you never know or maybe cousins?
