I've just seen this post and I'm wondering if the Folly McDaid’s are the family of John McDaid and Catherine McLaughlin (originally Fallask) of Meendacallaigh Illies?

Hi SileB, thank you for your enquiry. I'm away for a few days and haven't got my notes with me. I will get back to you when I get home.
Regards 🙂

That is a great find Little Annie. Have you any idea who Catherine’s mother was? I know from her marriage record that her father was John but as you are no doubt aware the baptismal records for Desertegney only begin in the 1870’s so I have been unable to find out her mother’s name.
