Looking for the Baptism record of Thomas Ryan born 1849 St Woollos - Newport -
Thomas married Ann Shallam in 1872 and he was a seaman, his children were baptised in St Pauls Newport
His father was John Ryan (on the marriage document)
Any help would be great as i have now come to a full stop with this person (who is my great grandfather on my dads side)

Cheers

Paul

Ann is a widow (PRICE) on the marriage.

Thomas is a mariner??. Father John RYAN a lab.

One of the witnesses is a Sarah RYAN.

Not certain about that 1851,Paul. :-\
"Boatman" doesn't look correct to me as the occ. for John and Michael RYAN.

I'd say Rosie has a close match on the family in 1851 (bearing in mind that a Sarah RYAN was a witness to the wedding).
