look up please looking for the parents of John Britten born Berkshire 1813.
« on: Saturday 02 January 16 01:59 GMT (UK) »
Happy New Year everyone. I have posted this request before but I am no further advanced, the proverbial brick wall. I'm still looking for the parents of John Britten born Berkshire 1813. He married Maria Carter, 1816, on January 31 1836 at St.Mary Reading. They had 4 children, Anna Maria 1837, William 1840, Mariann 1848 and James A.C. 1855. They are in the 1851 census living in London, James is no problem but all the others draw a blank. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If Clara Ann is correct, then this could be her and her mother in 1861.

Snap... just found that too....

Also, FreeBMD has a death for a Ann Maria BRITTEN 1838 St George in the East.  No age though, so hard to tell is this is the right one, and a John BRITTEN 1852 same place.

ADDED.... checked out the Baptism for James A C BRITTEN and noted that on the same day there was a Baptism for another child John Edward born 1851 same parents.  This also means that the death I found is the wrong John.
