Woolstone Parish Registers
« on: Wednesday 06 January 16 23:05 GMT (UK) »
Is anyone able to check the parish registers of Woolstone for some christenings and burials between 1850 and 1855

I am looking for the following:

Christenings
Elizabeth Ann Honey born May 1851 - dau of George and Jane
George Christopher Honey c1853 - son of George and Jane

George was also known as George Christopher Honey.
Thanks

Matthew

Many thanks for those. I had George Christopher's date of birth from his birth certificate and census so it's useful to have this as well. Were there any other Honey christenings or burials in Woolstone btw?

Best Wishes
Matt

Hi Matt,
You may already have/know this but there is a mar. in Woolstone for;
3-2-1851
George Christopher Honey, 21, b, shoemaker, s/o George, Shoemaker.   to
Jane Timms (x), 20, sp, lab, d/o Robert, Labr.

The other point is that Woolstone was a Chapel of Ease under Uffington until 1974. Having said that I could not find any "Honey" entries in the Uffington transcripts for any years. The earliest "Timms" entries start at; 1849 Burials; 1850 baptisms & 1851 marriages - all taken from the Oxfordshire FHS transcripts on CD.
