You've posted in IRELAND RESOURCES which is not for queries.

The title of this thread also includes the word fetherd? with a question mark. Is there an Irish connection? If so does Fethard in County Tipperary have something to do with Molly McGrath?

Once you get Kathleen's birth certificate you should discover her mother's name. Molly's marriage certificate should list her father's name and occupation (unless illegitimate).

It's very difficult to know what you are looking for or what we can find for you with such vague details to start with.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Looking for some info on the Taylor family havent got much to go on really. Kathleen Taylor born 1924 Maidstone all i know is her father was called Jack Taylor no idea if he came from the area. The mother was called Molly and came from Ireland. Hoping to find Jacks parents and anything on Molly would be a bonus. Thankyou.

Looking at Kathleen's birth record, her mother's maiden name is McGrath.

There is a marriage of a Kathleen McGarth to John J H Taylor -
q4 1923, Lambeth

Perhaps the name Molly was a 'pet' name.

I cannot confirm that Kathleen McGrath is Kathleen's mother other than the records found indicate that. However the only conclusive way to find out would be to purchase Kathleen's birth cert.

Did Kathleen have a male sibling born in 1926, Maidstone?

Have you any idea when Jack/John Taylor died? The death record will show his birth year and hopefully his full date of birth, which will help to trace him.

Not sure about the male sibling will have to ask my mother in law. I do know Mollys sister was called Kathleen.

That would be rather strange if Molly was actually a Kathleen!
