« on: Saturday 16 July 05 20:16 BST (UK) »
Hello there

I am looking for Salisburys living in the Stanton Upon Hine Heath area. Specifically:

Thomas Salisbury c1775
Robert Salisbury c1779
William Salisbury c1788

However I have lots of Salisburys in my tree so really I would be interested in any you happen to come across!!

Thanks very much

Sue

Hi Sue,

In High Hatton which is in the parish of Stanton I found this:

William Salsbury, H, Wid, 63, Wood Ranger, Stanton
Elizabeth, Daur, U, 14, Stanton
Samuel, Son, 12, Scholar, stanton
Esther, Daur, 9, Scholar, Stanton
Edward, Son, 7, Scholar, Stanton.

I found only one more Salisbury:

John Salisbury, Serv, U, 16, Farm Serv, Stanton.
This was the in household of Charles Hassey? in Stanton village

Hope this helps

Regards Allie

Thanks Allie

That confirms the information I have. It looks like William's elder brothers didn't survive into adulthood.

Thanks for your help
