I am presuming it relates to the ages of the bride and groom, which explains the numbers below? If so, which is the age of the groom and which the bride? Thanks

You are right it's about the age. "

Alter der Brautleute  Jahre - age of the betrothed  years.

I think it says Er - he  and under it Sie - she  plus age
