Folks,
Isabella Hopwood b 1848 Gateshead,Durham marries in 1870 to George Preston Sutton b 1851 Newcastle on Tyne,only child of this union is John Robinson Hopwood Sutton b 1871.At some point following 1871 census George and Isabella go their own ways.Have been unable to find them in 1881 census.
Isabella turns up in Victoria c 1882 having children with Alfred Foreshew,he arrived aboard "Northumberland" on 24 May 1878 then he dies in 1899.No trace of marriage in England or Victoria.Isabella then marries Arthur Hulbert in 1903,he dies 1912 and she dies 1923.Her parent details,pob and age match on the latest marriage certificate.
George and John appear to arrive Sydney 18 Dec 1884 as George Sutton and son,aboard "Sorata".We have their lives in NSW to their deaths.
I can find nothing on passenger list for Isabella,she wasn't travelling with Alfred.Hoping to find her arrival just to complete the picture.

Just noticed a co-incidence which my be just that - a coincidence.
An on-line tree has a copy of the birth certificate for Alfred FORESHEW, Black Bourton, Oxfordshire 1859.  It shows his mother's maiden name as HULBERT. After the death of Alfred Isabella married Arthur HULBERT  - related?

I notice on probate notice for Isabella  HULBERT that they say "otherwise known as "Isabella HULLIE".

How long in Australia and each state, if applicable, on Isabella's death certificate?

I don't have the certificate as Isabella is on the very edge of my wife's tree.I have contacted a direct descendant hoping she has purchased it.
Will advise later.

  I could photograph Isabella's probate packet for you if you like ...?   It's in the "gap years" for the online index but I can look it up on microfiche the next time I am there.   It is likely to have the death cert.
