In that case his father may be the Henry Stillgebauer who died in Hackney Mar qtr 1904 aged 68.

I also note the death of Catherine J Stillgebauer, Brentwood Mar qtr 1941 aged 62.

Looks as if they only may have only used Stillgebauer on certificates but used Bower on censuses as I cant see Henry at all under that name.

The Henry Bower who stayed in Sheffield seems to be a separate person.
