That 1891 is a good find, as it tells us his father was from Switzerlad.

Heinrich Stillgebauer* is recorded as an Alien Arrival on the Ceres from Rotterdam, 28 Nov 1853.

*transcribed Nillgeburns.

I can't make out his "Quality, Profession".  Birthplace (should be "Native Country" but they've all listed towns & cities) appears to be Stadt Schlitz.

So far as I know Schlitz is in (modern) Germany.

Could be then that he wanted to hide the fact he was German?

Struggling to find a marriage for Henry/Heinrich and Mary Ann.

Their first child it seems was Herman Henry Stillgebower, Sep qtr 1855 Stepney ("Hermann", 5, in 1861).

If his brothers Henry Herman (1858) and William Henry (1862) are anything to go by, they really wanted to keep the name Henry going!

Another boy with the name Henry in there:

Albert Henry A Stillgebower, Mar qtr 1868 Poplar (presumably "A", 13, in 1881)

also: Emma Stillgebower, born & died Dec qtr 1869 Poplar, may be theirs...

...and possibly also Frederick August Stillgeblower [sic], birth reg Dec qtr 1871 Poplar.

I can't find a marriage, perhaps there wasn't one. It may be necessary to get a birth certificate of one of the children to find Mary Ann's maiden name.

I believe that in fact Annie Katherine married the other man on the page (reference not fully transcribed on FreeBMD) - John Aloysius Stabbins.

Military records for John Stabbins show his wife as Anna Katherine, of 8 Henniker Gardens, East Ham.  John was 38 in 1908, a brewer's traveller born in Brislington (nr Bristol), Somerset.

Free index suggests they are Stebbins in 1911.
