Nor am I certain about this immigration ,  but I will post it just in case.

Shows a transcribed listing for one R L CLARKSON.
But when I look at the original document on the download, I believe it is R S CLARKSON.

The two can look alike in the older scripts.

Arrived 10th September, 1910 aboard Athenic
Departed Cape Town. He was a gentleman due to land at Wellington.

The electoral Rolls show Reuben Spensley CLARKSON was registered to vote in 1914 and also with Ruby Lilian.  He was a photographer and living at Bracken Avenue Epsom, Auckland

NZ rootschat members will do better at helping I am sure.

I do see according to 1901 census, the head of the family as  mentioned by Raylen was -

John CLARKSON  who was 55 years old and a cork merchant.
He was an employer.
Born Yorkshire, Melbeck.

His wife was Elizabeth M CLARKSON aged 54 born in London, Surrey.
